According to Fernando Pessoa, the city’s most famous poet, no other city in the world has an adequate word to convey the melancholy that is so unique to Lisbon as the memory of its illustrious history. From here the sea route to India was found by Vasco da Gama.
In addition to the melancholy that has become a bit of a cliché, the portrait of the city today also shows the remarkable relaxation and elegance of its residents.
Don’t visit, you will experience Lisbon! Life itself in the fascinating metropolis offers the most unforgettable sights: images on the Avenida da Liberdade and on the proud squares in the center of the former empire, as well as many endearing everyday scenes in the life of the city on the Tejo, in the maze of Travessas, the steep streets and narrow stairs and small squares of the Moorish old town of Alfama. The most common means of transport in Lisbon is the picturesque old tram “Electrico”, still original from 1901.

Portuguese courses in Lisbon
A standard Portuguese course in Lisbon :
- 15 lessons per week (1 hour = 50′)
- Group size 3-6
- Contents: General language lessons with a focus on the free oral use of the language, additional written work and training in listening comprehension.
B Portuguese intensive course in Lisbon :

- Contents: Same as Types 1 and 2 , but more learning progress through increased number of hours

C Portuguese private lessons in Lisbon:

- Content: General language or by arrangement
Leisure in Lisbon
At regular intervals, the language school organizes joint city tours, castle/museum visits, Fado or bar evenings, and dinners.

Accommodation in Lisbon
- Private accommodation: Living with Portuguese people in a single room with breakfast, use of the bathroom, some of the kitchen, bed linen. 20-40 minute drive to school or walking distance.
- Apartment/WG: Single room in an apartment. The kitchen, bathroom and common areas are shared with other residents. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the school by bus or metro.

Portuguese course & accommodation (arrival on Sunday before course, departure on Saturday after course) as booked, placement test, certificate of participation, teaching material, organization of leisure activities, local map, travel and school information. Depending on the number of participants, the number of hours can be reduced.
