Guadeloupe was formerly a colony, is now an overseas department of France and therefore also belongs to the EU. Grand-Terre and Base-Terre are the names of the two main islands, which together form the shape of a butterfly. Sainte-Anne is located near Pointe-à-Pitre and is characterized by the most beautiful beaches on the island. After your French courses you should of course enjoy lobsters, but also don’t hesitate to travel to the interior of Grande-Terre. The contrasts between the paradisiacal beaches and the inner beauties of these landscapes will take your breath away. Incredible viewpoints reveal the meanders consisting of wild landscapes and limestone plateaus, winding roads and long rivers. Mysterious and sunny Sainte-Anne is considered a fascinating place to learn French.
Language school & French lessons
The language school is located in Sainte-Anne, a small fishing village on the south coast of Grande-Terre, one of Guadeloupe’s two main islands. The school occupies two floors of a renovated building located directly on a side street in Sainte-Anne. Shops, restaurants, bars and two white sandy beaches are nearby. MLC is a small language school that not only aims to teach French as a foreign language, but also Creole culture, history and literature. She attaches great importance to communicative teaching in small groups so that course participants can quickly find their way around everyday situations in French. All this in a relaxed, familiar and Caribbean-friendly atmosphere.

A French standard course:

- Contents: General language training such as grammar, listening and reading comprehension, writing exercises, focus on the oral use of the language (conversation/communication training).
B French intensive course:
- Weekly hours: 30 x 55 minutes, 20 hours like A plus an additional 10 hours of conversation
- Classes: 8.30 a.m. – 2.45 p.m
- Group size: 4-6 max. 10, conversation 3 – 4
- Skill levels: 7 (A0 – C2)
- Contents: General language training
- Educational leave : Recognized in Hesse and Berlin!
C French private lessons :
- Weekly hours: 10 (optionally more!)
Accommodation
- + 2nd family: single and double rooms with half board (breakfast and dinner). Towels are provided. Travel time to school approx. 25 minutes. Arrival: Sunday / Departure Saturday.
- Shared apartment/apartment: Double or single room with private bathroom and own entrance, SV
- Apartment/Studio: 1-2 people for single use
